Ocker Bruyns joined the Camilla family earlier this year as Stable Manager and Trainer, in his ownquiet way he has earned the respect of the animals and people alike, through his love for theanimals, knowledge and sheer dedication, the results obtained are testament to this.Chris Hartman, Jenna’s trainer, has recently taken on the huge challenge of schooling Jackermisterwho, when all is said and done, is still just a naughty little boy however his progress is apparent.Chris’s patience with the animals, perseverance, dedication and calming effect on both Jackermisterand Jenna is a true asset to our stud.Jackermister and El Kader far exceeded our expectations.Jackermister, having never been in the show ring before, is four years old and has only been undersaddle for a few months. He competed in the Geldings three years and older and won the class, thenwent on to win the Championships of that class which was Junior Gelding Champion.El Kader who going on five years of age competed in his second show ever, El Kader competed inmany classes and did very well in all, he definitely upped his game over the last few months, this isvery apparent when comparing his last show results to this years summer show results. El Kadarwon the Junior Country Pleasure Horse, Junior English Pleasure Horse as well as the Summer ShowChampion Junior Costume Horse, among other thingsJabaar and Zaheem who have both been recently sold to Mohammed of KZN stood us proud. Jabaarwon third place in the Signature Stallions 2008 class and Zaheem got a second place in the colts agedone to two. Congratulations!‘Jenna, I am so proud of you, your love for horses and desire to partake and learn about these fineanimals never seizes to amaze me”To our friend Tzilla, it is wonderful to meet a person with so much passion for heranimals, well done on Hot Shot’s achievement, she can only go from strength tostrength. The arena was beautifully decorated and the festivity was felt by all.
